Chapter 7 : Academic Integrity and Performance

Hi and Assalamualikum everyone.Today in my week 6 of my study skills I have learn about the academic integrity and performance from chapter 7.So for this chapter we will learn about plagiarism and how to calculation grade point average (CGPA).

Many university students are unintentionally guilty of plagiarism when they write reports,do assignment and research papers.

What is plagiarism ?

Plagiarism is means an act of using or closely imitating the language and thoughts of another author without authorization and the representation of the author's work as one's own,as by not.

How to know someone did plagiarism ?

Turning in someone else's work as your own
Falling to put a quotation in quotation marks
Copying words or ideas from someone else without giving credit
Giving incorrect information about the source of a quotation

How to prevent the plagiarism the plagiarism ?

Calculating grade point average the final examination results and assestments as the end of every semester are assigned a GPA and CGPA which represent student academic achieve.The GPA refers to the calculated average of the letter grades a students earns in each semester following a 0 to 4.0 .To be past students have to get 2.00 on his CGPA.If students did not past the CGPA marks or get fail for 3 times he will be dismissed from his university.
